Ethiopia is generally regarded as the birth place of coffee and home to a genetic fount of coffee plant cultivars.  These plants still grow in the wild and many have not been cataloged.  There are current  efforts to inventory these varities and to test for taste as well as experiemnt with growing climates to optimize quality and resiliance.  It is difficult to find a detailed map of Ethiopia partly because area boundries are not only geographical but tribal as well.
