The largest of the Indonesia Islands, Sumatra or Sumatera, actually means of the ocean in Indonesia. 70% of coffee production from Sumatra is Robusta and is grown in the southern part of the Island and exported from Lampung. Arabica production occurs in the central to northern part of the Island with the most notable regions being the areas surrounding Lake Toba (near sidi kalang) and Aceh.
